Love and lust are undone by greed and deception in the first trailer of Abhishek Chaubey’s marvelously looking film Dedh Ishqiya.
The movie has an interesting mix of characters: There’s Naseeruddin Shah as Khalu totally smitten with Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit), the begum of Mahmudabad. There’s Arshad Warsi as the lusty Babban looking to get cozy with the sly Muniya (Huma Qureshi). And there’s Vijay Raaj as an admirer of Madhuri; he dresses up like a nawab but acts like a lout.
